A Gathering for the Curious and the Called

A Gathering for the Curious and the Called

There’s something quietly powerful about returning to a place that has witnessed pieces of your life unfold.

For me, Altgeld Hall has always carried that kind of presence — steady, storied, and somehow both grounding and expansive at once. Its stone walls, its castle-like architecture, the way sound moves through its corridors… it holds memory.

And this season, something new is weaving into that familiar space.

I’ll be stepping into the Witches and Wellness Expo as a vendor — not just to share my work, but to meet the moment where curiosity, healing, and community gather under one roof.

A Gathering for the Curious and the Called

The Witches and Wellness Expo isn’t just an event - it’s a convergence.

It brings together practitioners, creators, and seekers who are all, in their own way, exploring what it means to live with intention. Whether someone is just beginning to explore energy, intuition, and holistic wellness, or has been walking that path for years, there’s space here for both discovery and deepening.

You’ll find a mystical marketplace filled with handcrafted goods - crystals, herbs, candles, art - each item carrying the imprint of the hands and hearts that made them.

There are workshops that move beyond theory into lived practice, where you don’t just hear about a concept, you experience it. Lectures that invite you to consider new perspectives on wellness, energy, and the unseen layers of life. Practitioners offering insight, guidance, and connection.

And through all of it, there’s a shared undercurrent:
You don’t have to arrive knowing everything.
You just have to arrive open.

Why This Space Matters to Me

This university has been part of my world for decades. For nearly 30 years, I’ve moved in and out of this space as an interpreter - listening deeply, translating meaning, bridging understanding.

So to return now, in a different expression of my work, feels like a full-circle moment.

There’s something meaningful about bringing nervous system work, sound, and presence into a place where communication has always been central to my life. It’s not separate - it’s an evolution.

Because at its core, my work has always been about translation.

Not just between languages.
But between states of being.

What I’ll Be Bringing Into the Space

As a neuroscience coach, sound and movement practitioner, and Human Design deconditioning specialist, my work lives at the intersection of science and lived experience.

At my vendor space, you won’t find something to “fix” you.

What you’ll find is an invitation.

An invitation to experience what happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to soften.
When the body is given space to release what it has been holding.
When imagination is allowed to lead instead of being dismissed.

I’ll be sharing elements of:

  • Sound as a regulatory tool for the nervous system
  • Presence as a pathway to healing
  • Reconnecting to the body as a source of intelligence
  • Deconditioning from patterns that were never truly yours

Some people may come by out of curiosity.
Some may feel something they can’t quite name.

Both are welcome.

The Power of In-Person Connection

There’s a difference between learning about something and experiencing it in a shared space.

Events like this create a kind of field - one that’s shaped by collective intention, openness, and the willingness to explore.

You might come for a specific vendor or workshop…
and leave with a conversation that stays with you.

You might think you’re just browsing…
and find yourself pausing, breathing a little deeper, noticing something shift.

That’s the beauty of spaces like this.
They don’t demand transformation.

They make room for it.

If You Feel the Pull

If something about this resonates - whether it’s the setting, the people, or simply the desire to step into a different kind of environment for a day - consider this your invitation.

Come as you are.

Walk through the halls.
Touch the textures of handmade work.
Listen to conversations unfolding around you.
Let yourself be curious without needing to define what that curiosity means.

And if our paths cross, I would love to meet you there.

There are moments when the familiar becomes new again.

For me, this is one of them.

A return.
A continuation.
A different way of listening.

And maybe, for you, it becomes something of your own.
